Effective September 2026
These terms cover your use of Show O’Clock. They’re meant to be readable, so please do read them.
Show O’Clock (“Show O’Clock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an app for tracking shows and movies and finding what’s playing nearby. By creating an account or using Show O’Clock, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Show O’Clock.
If you are under 18, you may use Show O’Clock only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Show O’Clock is not directed to children.
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please give accurate sign-in information and keep it current.
Your display name is shown to you on your own profile. Don’t use a display name intended to impersonate someone else or to harass anyone.
If you think someone else has accessed your account, contact us at privacy@showoclock.com.
You may use Show O’Clock for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment tracking and discovery: follow shows and movies, record what you’ve watched, keep watchlists, react to episodes, import your own viewing history, and look up what’s playing near a ZIP code.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the service for those purposes while these terms apply.
Please don’t:
Automated access outside normal app use — bots, crawlers, scripted clients — isn’t permitted without our written consent.
Show O’Clock displays content and data we don’t own.
Show and movie information and artwork come from TMDB. Theatre and showtime information comes from AMC Theatres. Sign-in may use Google Identity Services. That content and data remain the property of, and subject to the terms of, their respective owners and providers.
Nothing in these terms transfers any right in third-party content to you or to us. TMDB and AMC Theatres do not endorse, sponsor or certify Show O’Clock. Source and attribution details are on the Data & Credits page.
Those providers may change, restrict or discontinue their services or their terms at any time, which can change or remove features of Show O’Clock outside our control.
Don’t rely on Show O’Clock alone for showtimes or ticketing.
Showtimes, theatre listings, release dates, episode information and artwork come from third parties and can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Showtimes in particular change frequently and can be cancelled or rescheduled after we display them.
Please confirm times, prices and availability with the theatre or the official source before travelling or buying tickets. We don’t sell tickets and we’re not a party to any purchase you make elsewhere.
You keep whatever rights you have in the data you enter or import, such as a TV Time history export. By using the import feature, you confirm you’re entitled to use that data and you permit us to process and store what’s needed to provide the feature to you.
As described in the Privacy Policy, an imported CSV is read in your browser and the raw file isn’t uploaded to us.
Please keep your own copy of anything you care about. You can export your data from your profile at any time.
The Show O’Clock name, its interface, design, and the software and original text we wrote belong to us or are used with permission. These terms don’t give you the right to copy, adapt or redistribute them, apart from using the app as intended.
Third-party data, artwork, trademarks and logos shown in the app belong to their respective owners, as described in section 6.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion does.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, creates a security or legal risk, or abuses the service or its third-party providers. Where it’s reasonable and appropriate to do so, we’ll try to tell you why.
Show O’Clock is offered as-is and is actively being developed. We may add, change or remove features, and we may need to take the service offline for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available, and we don’t promise any particular feature will keep working — especially where it depends on a third-party API.
To the extent permitted by law, Show O’Clock is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. That includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We don’t warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted or secure, or that the entertainment data it displays is accurate, complete or current.
To the extent permitted by law, Show O’Clock won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of the service.
That includes, for example, a trip made or a ticket bought on the basis of a showtime that turned out to be wrong, or data lost because a third-party provider changed or withdrew its service.
Show O’Clock is currently provided free of charge. Where liability can’t be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for the service, which is presently nothing, or to the minimum permitted by applicable law if that is greater.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of Show O’Clock may be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking relief that applicable law makes available elsewhere.
Most of the show, movie and theatre content in Show O’Clockcomes from the third-party sources described in section 6 and on the Data & Credits page.
If you believe something shown in Show O’Clock infringes your copyright, please contact us at privacy@showoclock.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we’ll review it. Where the material originates with a third-party provider, we may also refer you to that provider.
We may update these terms as the product changes. When we do, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. If you keep using Show O’Clock after a change takes effect, that use is subject to the updated terms.
